- An unbiased third-party DNA sample collector must collect the samples at an approved collection location or, in some geographic areas, through an onsite collection.
- All DNA specimens collected for legal purposes are submitted to our partner AABB-accredited laboratory for analysis.
- The established chain of custody allows the results to be used as documentation of a claimed biological relationship between a father and child—or another familial relationship—for purposes such as family court proceedings, child support cases, Social Security benefits, or adding or removing an alleged father’s name from a birth certificate.
