What is an At Home Paternity Test?
An At-Home Paternity Test determines the biological relationship between an alleged father and a child. Involving the mother of the child is optional. This test provides results for peace-of-mind purposes only.
The results of this test cannot be used for legal matters such as immigration, paternity establishment, child support, child custody, Social Security, or birth certificate name changes. Legal and non-legal paternity tests are performed by our partner AABB-accredited lab.
Please Note: New York State residents cannot purchase Home DNA Testing kits due to New York State Department of Health guidelines. Legal DNA tests are the only option available in New York State.

How To Order A Home DNA Test Kit:

- After you order your kit. It will ship within 24hrs from your purchase.
- Upon receipt of your DNA collection kit. Following the enclosed instructions on how to collect your genetic samples and complete your chain of custody form.
- Place all items after you collected your genetic samples and completed the chain of custody form in the prepaid return envelope going to the lab that came with your kit.
- Once your kit is received by the lab testing will begin.
- Upon the completion of testing. A copy of the test results will be emailed to you and a physical copy will be mailed to your home.

Will my information be kept private?
Your information will remain private. The lab does not share data collected for DNA analysis with third-party companies. DNA samples are stored for an average of three months before destruction. Data may be shared only by court order but not before the client being notified.
